The Judicial Appointments Board for Scotland will shortly be launching a competition for two suitably qualified and experienced individuals to be recommended for appointment as an Ordinary Member with surveyor experience of the Upper Tribunal for Scotland.
Ordinary Members are judicial office holders appointed by the Scottish Ministers.
Eligibility for an ordinary member of the Upper Tribunal for Scotland requires that the individual
(a) is a member or fellow of RICS, and
(b) has at least 10 years’ experience as such a member or fellow in matters relating to valuation for rating.
As an Ordinary Member, you will play a key part ensuring that justice is delivered effectively and efficiently.
