Personal statement
What is the Personal Statement
The personal statement is your opportunity to demonstrate how your skills, experience and personal qualities align with the role you are applying for. This part of the application form is subject to a word-count restriction, so you should consider how you can best express these qualities within the number of words allowed.
You should explain why you consider yourself suitable for the judicial office for which you are applying, making sure that what you say is relevant to the requirements of the role, as set out in the role profile.
You may want to explain what you would find most challenging or demanding about the role, and how you would address these.
