Upcoming Recruitment - Office of Senator of the College of Justice.
In early December, the Judicial Appointments Board for Scotland (JABS) is launching a recruitment round for the Office of Senator of the College of Justice. JABS has been asked to make five recommendations for appointment.
In advance of this competition, JABS and the Judicial Office for Scotland will be holding an online event on Tuesday 2 December at 17:15.
This online information event will provide insight into the role of a Senator, induction and support for new appointees to this office as well providing information on the application and interview process.
Speakers will include:
· The Lord President of the Court of Session
· Mr Lindsay Montgomery, Lay Chairing Member, JABS
· Lady Ross, Senator of the College of Justice
· Sheriff Pino Di Emidio, Director, Judicial Institute for Scotland
· Lady Haldane, Senator of the College of Justice and JABS Judicial Member
A Q&A session will also be held with the panel. If you currently have any questions that you would like answered at the session you can let us know in advance at mailbox@jabs.gov.scot.
