First-tier Tribunal for Scotland Health and Education Chamber Ordinary Members - Opportunities Opening Soon
The Judicial Appointments Board for Scotland (JABS) will soon be inviting applications for Ordinary Members of the First-tier Tribunal for Scotland Health and Education Chamber.
We are looking for suitably qualified individuals with professional experience in Health or Education who are interested in participating effectively and impartially in the hearing and the decision-making process and make decisions that have a meaningful impact on young people’s lives.
A person is eligible for appointment if the person has knowledge and experience of children or young persons with—
(a) additional support needs within the meaning of section 1(1) of the Education (Additional Support for Learning) (Scotland) Act 2004; or
(b) a disability within the meaning of section 6 of the Equality Act 2010[1].
